The Happy Valley Student Council represents all of the students at our school. Members of this group are elected, year 6 students and include the School Captains and Sports House Captains. Each councillor represents a year level which they communicate with on a regular basis to share information about upcoming events and to ask for suggestions and ideas for improvement from the student population.
Students Councillors are expected to support school and community events throughout the year. The group meets fortnightly and is involved in the organisation and running of school events, such as free dress days, discos, Fun Runs and ice-cream spider stalls. Fundraising events are held each term and target either an identified project in the school or a chosen charity.
